Davide Martini has served as a Senior Expert in cybersecurity in aviation at EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) since March 2016. His recent work spans various aspects of cybersecurity in the aviation domain. He has contributed to the development of the EASA regulatory framework for managing information security risks in aviation (known as Part-IS), and has been responsible for overseeing the development of acceptable means of compliance and guidance material for this regulation. He participates in international cybersecurity initiatives in aviation, representing EASA on relevant ICAO panels and in industry standardisation activities. He also engages in high-level education, delivering guest lectures on cybersecurity in aviation.

Prior to his current role, he spent over 15 years working in the aviation industry. His previous role was Engineering Manager at Leonardo – Helicopters Division.

Davide holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
