Blockchain based cryptocurrency has become common in finance. Infrastructure emerged around the technology allowing the retail investors to take advantage of its growth, International standards for blockchain have been established as well as regulations in most regions.  Outside of finance, the use of blockchain was demonstrated and in many cases implemented to support supply chain and logistics, the integrity of medical records and other documents,  trustworthy content creation and  digital identity management. Blockchain continues to drive significant research areas ranging from privacy to asset tokenisation and PQC (post quantum cryptography). A  new area focusing on integration of blockchain and AI has emerged.

The panel will discuss the current state of blockchain and its applications, its relationship to AI and AI technology and the most important research directions in this area.
