Alex Reznik - Welcome to 6GWorldAlex Reznik is a distinguished expert in the Telecom industry, specialising in security and edge computing. He is a frequent speaker and co-author of the book “Multi-Access Edge Computing in Action.” From March 2017 to February 2021, Alex served as Chair of ETSI’s Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) ISG, the leading international standards group for enabling edge computing in access networks.

From 2022 to 2025, Alex was a Global Principal Architect at Dell Technologies’ Telco Solutions Business organization, focusing on assisting Telco and Enterprise partners with Edge Cloud strategy, emphasizing security and return on investment. Prior to joining Dell, he was a Distinguished Technologist at HPE’s North American Telco organization, where he played a key role in helping Tier 1 CSPs deploy advanced infrastructure to realize the potential of 5G. Before his tenure at HPE, Alex held the position of Senior Principal Engineer/Senior Director at InterDigital, leading research and development in wireless internet evolution. Since joining InterDigital in 1999, he has contributed to numerous projects, including leadership in 3G modem ASIC architecture, design of advanced wireless security systems, and development of IP mobility and heterogeneous access technologies.

Alex holds a B.S.E.E. Summa Cum Laude from The Cooper Union, an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. He has been a visiting faculty member at WINLAB, Rutgers University, focusing on cognitive radio, wireless security, and future mobile Internet. He also served as Vice-Chair of the Services Working Group at the Small Cells Forum. Alex is the inventor of over 160 granted U.S. patents and has received numerous awards for innovation at InterDigital.
