As Chief Patent Counsel, Bruce founded and managed the technology-based IP programs for Ameritech Corp., SBC Communications (AT&T) and Cingular Wireless (AT&T Wireless). He has served the U.S. on the National Knowledge and Intellectual Property Management Taskforce — which named him as a Fellow in 2005. He has been published more than sixty times and is a co-author of Business Power: Creating New Wealth from IP Assets, John Wiley & Sons, 2007. He has lectured dozens of times at various universities, professional meetings, conferences and symposiums.Since entering private practice, Bruce has specialized in complex technology issues and building commercially valuable patent portfolios in high-tech fields such as telecommunications, wireless communications and devices, electronics, storage networks, database systems, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, web applications and media processing.
