Cory Robinson is a former Associate Professor at Linköping University (Sweden) and founder of the Nordic Privacy Center and Nordic Nerds reading group. He now advises companies on data governance, privacy, and AI ethics while preparing for a new academic role. His work spans personal data, surveillance, and ethical AI, with contributions to AI4People’s Healthcare and Media boards, and board roles at DFRI (Sweden) and the Digital Enlightenment Forum (Netherlands). He has taught courses on big data ethics, privacy in smart cities and socio-technical aspects of cybersecurity. His recent research covers privacy in drones, wearables and IoT, with a focus on Nordic policy values such as trust, transparency and openness.
