Gisela Meister

Gisela Since February 2025, Dr. Gisela Meister has represented Eurosmart as a member of the European CNECT CRA Expert Group and since June 2019 as a member of the European Commission Radio Equipment Expert Group. She has actively contributed to several key standardisation bodies, including CEN/CLC JTC 13 “Cybersecurity,” where she focuses on product security (WG6) and supports EU regulations like the Radio Equipment Directive (WG8) and the Cyber Resilience Act (WG9). Additionally, she serves as a liaison member to CEN/CLC JTC 13 and CEN TC 224, while also participating in ETSI TC Cyber as Eurosmart’s delegate.

Since July 2019, Dr. Meister has been a member of the ETSI TC Cyber group, serving as rapporteur for the development of ETSI TS 103701 assessment specification and its recent update for the consumer IoT security standard ETSI EN 303645. In June 2021, she was elected chair of the joint DIN/DKE GA “Cybersecurity,” which mirrors the work of CEN/CLC JTC 13 and its working groups as well as ETSI Cyber.

Dr. Meister holds degrees in mathematics and economics from the Universities of Hagen and Münster.
