As a former Fortune 100 in-house technology and operations executive with more than 25 years of experience, Virginia knows what it takes to build and scale programs that align to company culture, strategy, and resources — not just on paper. She builds governance structures that embed privacy and AI accountability directly into business, engineering, and risk functions, creating programs that are practical, sustainable, and built to last. She is especially energized by working with small and mid-sized organizations preparing to scale, often serving as a fractional privacy and AI governance leader to help them establish the right foundation at the right time.
Based in the Boston area, Virginia is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), with AIGP coursework completed. She serves on the Professional Training Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and on the Advisory Board of the EP3 Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating the conflict between privacy and personalization by incubating technologies and governance models that enable secure, trusted global data and AI interactions.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys the New England seasons, kayaking and hiking, traveling internationally and spending time with her husband, adult children and two cats.
